Steindorf to address DAR group
ST. IGNATIUS — The Kuilix chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet on Tuesday, March 8, at 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, Highway 93. Kuilix member Tam Steindorf will present a program entitled, “Covered Wagons on the Prairie.” Come at noon for a social hour. Prospective members are welcome. Get informed about sex trafficking
ST. IGNATIUS — On Wednesday, March 9, at the Mission Valley United Methodist Church, Highway 93 (top of Post Creek Hill), there will be a potluck at 5:30 p.m. and a presentation on Sex Trafficking and Sexual Assault in Montana by attorneys Kimberly Dudik and Hilly McGahan at 6 p.m. A discussion will follow. The Flathead Reservation Human Rights Coalition is sponsoring the event.

ST. IGNATIUS — The boardroom of St. Ignatius Middle School is the site of the Indian Education Committee meeting on Wednesday, March 9, at 5:30 p.m.

Bond progress presentation planned for Mission board meeting
ST. IGNATIUS —Scott Skype will make a presentation on bond progress at the March 15 board meeting at 7 p.m. in the St. Ignatius Middle School board room.
Neighborhood Watch to meet
ST. IGNATIUS — The St. Ignatius Neighborhood Watch meeting is on Tuesday, March 15, at 7 p.m. at the St. Ignatius Senior Citizens’ Center. Call 406-745-2545 for more information.

Public barbecue held for School District No. 28
ST. IGNATIUS — There will be a public barbecue provided by Slate and School District No. 28 on the building project with grounds information and picture boards for viewing. A barbecue burgers and hot dogs potluck with dessert will take place at 6 p.m. The community, students, and parents are invited. Slate will be downtown all day visiting with businesses and sharing information.

Early morning meeting bond presentation planned
ST. IGNATIUS — On March 18 there will be a staff presentation at 8:15 a.m. in the St. Ignatius Schools’ all-purpose room about the St. Ignatius bond and plans. The community is welcome.
